Research in Dentistry is a peer-reviewed, open access journal that publishes original research articles, supplemented by reviews, theoretical articles, case histories and practical applications of methods including dental studies. Articles submitted to the journal should meet these criteria and must not be under consideration for publication elsewhere. All manuscripts must be prepared in English and are subject to a rigorous and fair peer-review process.
Aims and Scope
The journal welcomes the submission of high quality manuscripts with significant policy implications that are concerned with the theoretical or empirical aspects of the following broadly defined areas: the dental disease, periodontology, endodontology, orthodontics, prosthodontics, dental equipment, esthetics, prosthetics, restorative dentistry, dental implants, prosthetics, epidemiology and oral health and pathology, clinical trials, dental education, material sciences and related subjects.
Research in Dentistry aims to bring together new ideas and offers practical case studies to researchers clinical scientists, medical/ health practitioners, dental educators, students, dental policy-makers and institutions in the dental and other sectors.
